Hello, and welcome to my blog! I am so happy that you are here! I am an elementary school music teacher currently living in Indiana. Although I have called Indiana home for several years now, I grew up in the beautiful state of North Carolina and have many fond memories of my childhood there.

As a child, I was always drawn to music and began taking piano lessons at a young age. Throughout my school years, I participated in choir and various musical productions, which fueled my passion for music even further. In college, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in music education and went on study it. I wanted to teach high school… but I could only find an elementary position.

Now, I am teaching music to elementary school students, and I absolutely love it! I believe that music is an essential part of a well-rounded education, and I am passionate about sharing the joys of music with my students. In my classes, we explore a variety of musical genres, learn about different instruments, and work together to create beautiful music.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, cuddling with my cats, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I am excited to use this blog as a platform to share my experiences as an elementary school music teacher and to connect with others who share my passion for music education.
